BO Training
The BO (Fire Fighting & Evacuation) course is for employees whose only BHV tasks are fire fighting and evacuation, as well as for BHV’ers who already provide first aid or are certified EHBO responders and want to add these tasks to their role. You learn what to do if a fire breaks out and how to safely evacuate your building.
What you'll learn
The BO course consists of two parts:
Fire fighting
In the fire-fighting part, you learn what to do when you receive a call that there is a fire in your company. When is it responsible to attempt to extinguish it? In which cases is it necessary to start evacuating immediately? You'll learn which fires you can still extinguish and how to do so safely. Naturally, the risks involved in fire fighting are also covered — your own safety always comes first.
Evacuation
The evacuation part covers a general evacuation procedure for BHV'ers. What are your tasks as a BHV'er during an evacuation? Attention is also given to evacuation equipment and cooperation with the fire department and police.

Exam
The exam consists of a multiple-choice theory test and a practical test. During the exam, you demonstrate that you meet the required exam standards.
